Weather Hunters (2025)
Weather Hunters is a new PBS KIDS animated series (premiered Sept. 8, 2025) created with Al Roker that follows 8-year-old “weather detective” Lily Hunter and her multigenerational family—including her meteorologist dad (voiced by Roker) and grandfather (voiced by LeVar Burton)—as they explore weather, climate, and environmental science through fun adventures. Aimed at kids ages 5-8, the show blends comedy and heart to make big concepts about storms, seasons, and climate change engaging, while also teaching preparedness, curiosity, and care for the planet. Each 22-minute episode mixes 2D/3D animation with interactive digital content like games, helping kids learn how weather works, why it matters, and how it affects people and communities.
